Ventral vagal connection isn’t about staying calm.

It’s about remaining open, responsive, and capable of repair in real time.

I’m here for the woman who is done surviving her own life — and is ready to live inside it.

Not as an idea.

As a felt, embodied baseline.

For over two decades, I’ve guided humans through healing, embodiment, and transformation — supporting thousands of students and clients across the world through deep body-based work, nervous system education, trauma renegotiation, and relational repair.

And what I want you to know is simple:

You don’t need more information.

You need a deeper relationship with your body — because your body is where change becomes real.

I created The Somatic Way because so many women are awake… wise… devoted… even brilliant at supporting others — and yet still living with subtle bracing as their baseline.

Still managing their lives from the edges.

Still overriding their instincts.

Still holding so much — without being held.

This work is about restoring what was missing:

the foundational skills of nervous system literacy, somatic integrity, and female-body-led healing — so you can meet life, love, and leadership from the inside out.

I’m deeply inspired by the humans who have devoted themselves to this terrain — from the pioneers of Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory, to the teachers and wisdom keepers who remind us that healing is not only biology…

It is also belonging.

It is also truth.

It is also soul.

My own path into this work wasn’t theoretical.

For years, I lived in a body braced for survival — chronically dysregulated in ways I didn’t fully understand. I had years of devotion to healing, growth, and spirituality… and yet I still felt disconnected from my own body. From safety. From intimacy. From the capacity to truly exhale.

It wasn’t until my health and life demanded something deeper that I found what I now teach:

healing isn’t something you do to yourself.

It’s something your nervous system learns through new conditions, new experiences, and embodied repetition.

Today, I live this work — not as perfection, but as practice.

I’m a mother of two. A lover. A leader. A devoted student of life.

And I care deeply about creating a world where women can lead, love, mother, and build what they came here to build — without abandoning their bodies, their joy, or their simple pleasures to do it.

If you’re here, I’m not here to “fix” you.

I’m here to teach you how to become your own safest place to land — so your presence becomes the transmission.

  • I don’t offer surface tools or formulas. I guide you to reclaim your body’s innate wisdom so you stop outsourcing your healing and become your own greatest resource. My work weaves science, soma, and soul, meeting what’s true in the moment. This is about lasting transformation: resolving trauma patterns, not just managing them. With 25+ years of experience, I offer depth, integrity, and a path back to your power — beyond trends, into the wholeness that’s always been yours.

  • The Somatic Way Foundations Certificate is awarded to participants who complete the full 14-week program with sincere engagement in both the recorded material and the live integration calls.

    To be considered for certification, you’ll be asked to:

    • Complete the foundational recorded modules
    • Attend the live weekly calls (or watch the replays)
    • Engage with the integration practices throughout the container
    • Remain present in the process from beginning to end

    This is not a performance-based or exam-based certification.
    It’s an embodied integration certificate, recognizing that you’ve completed the foundational Somatic Way methodology and practiced the core skills in real time.

    What this certification means

    This certificate confirms that you have:

    • Completed The Somatic Way Foundations training
    • Developed nervous system literacy and somatic self-leadership skills
    • Learned the foundational trauma-renegotiation methodology
    • Practiced embodied integration inside a relational container

    Many women use this work to deepen their own lives and relationships.
    Others begin to mirror these skills within their scope as coaches, teachers, mothers, facilitators, or leaders.

    This certification is a foundational personal integration training, and may also serve as a prerequisite for future Somatic Way professional or leadership tracks.

    Certification discretion

    Certification is granted at Zoey’s discretion.
    She reserves the right to certify participants on a case-by-case basis when she feels they have sincerely engaged with the material, embodied the foundations, and can represent The Somatic Way Foundations with integrity.

    This helps protect the depth, quality, and relational ethos of the work.

  • No. This work meets you exactly where you are. Whether you’re new to nervous system healing or have explored it before, all that’s needed is curiosity and a willingness to show up as you are. You’ll be guided gently at a pace that honors your capacity.

  • For the self-paced course, set aside about 2 hours per week for 6 weeks — or longer, since you’ll have lifetime access. The live group program runs for 8 weeks. Your daily integration will shape how deeply the work supports you. The pace is yours to set.

  • If you’re in the live program, I’m available during calls, Q+As, and any integration sessions I open up. Many participants choose to add 1:1 sessions or immersions to deepen their journey. The level of support is yours to choose.

  • No. This is not psychotherapy or a replacement for mental health treatment. It’s body-based education and healing guidance that beautifully complements therapy. Many clients find it offers the somatic foundation needed to integrate therapy or spiritual work at a deeper level.
