ABOUT
I’m here to guide the path of COURAGEOUS LOVE where healing becomes embodied, wholeness is restored, and your primal wisdom leads the way.
Meet Zoey
HI, I’M ZOEY,
Somatic Practitioner. Nervous System Educator. Embodiment Guide. Mother. Lover.
For over two decades, I’ve been devoted to the healing arts—guiding thousands internationally, facilitating alongside world-leading minds, and walking with lovers, leaders, mothers, and changemakers through profound transformation.
But my deepest credentials are lived. Grief, illness, birth, and motherhood shaped me as much as my studies. Again and again, life brought me to the edge of what I thought I could bear—and taught me that love, when tended, is stronger than fear.
Courageous Love was born here—in heartbreak and in birth, in loss and in rebirth, in facing death and choosing not to shut down.
This is the ground from which The Somatic Way emerged: body-led, soul-rooted, trauma-informed, science-backed, and fiercely human.
Where This All Began
I didn’t arrive here through theory or titles.
I arrived because life broke me open—
and invited me to be remade.
For years, I was a guide of yoga, wellness, and spirituality. But when grief and illness took me to the edge of myself, no amount of knowledge could bridge the fracture between what I knew in my mind and what I could feel in my body.
I tried to out-think the ache.
I tried to hold it all together.
I tried to outrun the bracing that lived in my bones.
And none of it worked.
What saved me was learning to surrender—
not in the way the world imagines surrender,
but in the active, unrelenting way of unlearning, deprogramming,
and daring to trust what my body had been whispering all along.
To surrender meant turning toward the places I wanted to turn away. It meant no longer outsourcing my power to gurus, quick fixes, or the next promise of wholeness. It meant forging a real, living relationship with my nervous system, and discovering that my primal wisdom had always held the way home.
That choice didn’t just change me.
It gave me my life back.
It gave me resilience in the face of loss. It gave me the capacity to hold both love and pain without shutting down. It gave me back my devotion to living—fully, tenderly, courageously.
And now, this is what I offer to you:
a path of returning to yourself,
where surrender becomes strength,
your body becomes your greatest resource,
and love—courageous, embodied, unstoppable—becomes the ground you walk on.
How We Build the Capacity to Love and Lead
Awareness alone doesn’t change the body.
You can know your patterns, name them, even teach them to others— and still find yourself bracing in the moments that matter most.
Still caught in anxious loops—over-giving in love, over-working in leadership, never quite able to feel enough?
Still retreating into avoidant distance—pulling back when intimacy, visibility, or commitment feels like too much?
Still tangled in disorganized push-and-pull—longing to step forward in love, purpose, or parenting, but bracing for the hurt or failure that might come with it? And like so many of us, disguising the distance as something else—calling it a limitation, when underneath it’s simply fear, lack of skill, and capacity not yet built to hold both power and vulnerability…?
I know this terrain. I’ve lived it.
And I also know the way through.
My role is to walk beside you as you come home to yourself through your body—
to help you reclaim dynamic capacity and relative safety within your nervous system.
So you can stop circling the same old spirals
and begin to live, love, and lead from a deeper, more coherent ground.
From this foundation, you build the inner architecture to hold more—more love, more vitality, more intimacy, more impact—
without abandoning yourself in the process.
the FOUNDATION of my WORK
My work lives at the intersection of soma, science, and soul—where nervous system wisdom meets the mystery of being human.
I weave together somatic healing, ancestral healing and resourcing, somatic attachment repair, Parts Work, trauma resolution, and nervous system education—all grounded in Polyvagal Theory, neuroplasticity, and the body’s innate capacity for repair.
But this isn’t about methods alone.
It’s about restoring the foundations we were never taught:
how to listen to our bodies,
how to hold ourselves in relative safety,
how to expand into dynamic capacity—
so we can meet life, love, and leadership with more of ourselves available.
Because healing isn’t linear.
It’s relational. It’s cyclical.
It’s a way of living, leading, and loving—
and it’s the ground from which Courageous Love can grow.
A Peaceful Rebellion
I’ve witnessed the profound transformation that happens when we remember what the body has always known.
And I’ve also seen the unnecessary suffering that comes from a world that never taught us how.
My work is part of a peaceful rebellion—
a movement to re-humanize healing, love, and leadership.
It’s about interrupting the patterns of fear and survival that get passed down, and restoring the capacity to live and love from wholeness.
Because what we don’t tend to doesn’t just disappear—
it travels forward into our children, our relationships, our culture.
And what we do reclaim doesn’t just heal us—
it ripples outward, restoring coherence, power, and love to the collective.
BY devoting yourself to this work your contributing to a peaceful rebellion — a movement to re-humanize healing, love, and leadership, for ourselves and for the world our children will inherit.
This is the larger mission of Courageous Love:
to create a world where healing isn’t something we step away for, but the way we live, lead, and relate—together.

WHAT GUIDES MY HEART & WORK
The work I do isn’t built on strategies or scripts.
It’s guided by living principles—anchors I return to again and again, in my own life and with every client I serve.
01.
Courageous Love
Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a practice.
It asks us to stay open when fear wants us to retreat,
to risk vulnerability when protection feels safer.
And it takes skill and capacity—because without them, we shut down when we most long to connect.
02.
Attunement
I don’t force. I listen.
I’m known for hearing what isn’t spoken—listening beyond words.
What feels subtle to some is not subtle at all; it’s information.
Attunement is the art of honouring what lives beneath the surface.
03.
Vitality
Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about reclaiming the aliveness that’s been waiting underneath survival—
so you can pulse with joy, creativity, intimacy, pleasure, and purpose.
04.
Truth
Truth isn’t a burden—it’s liberation.
It’s the desires we’ve hidden, the power we’ve tucked away, the clarity we’ve been afraid to claim.
When we meet it with compassion, it becomes the ground for coherence, freedom, and love.e.
05.
Regeneration
Healing ripples forward.
What we tend to now becomes nourishment for the future—
restoring not just ourselves, but our families, our relationships, and our culture..
06.
Peaceful Rebellion
The Somatic Way isn’t a quick fix.
It’s a reclamation. A way of life.
An inside-out rebellion that restores what was never meant to be lost:
our body’s wisdom, our right to belong, our capacity to love courageously—
along with the return of power, pleasure, and peace to their rightful place.
